Winter in Nice, France (Day 3)
I'm pushing my limits here, illustrating these old fashioned details inspired by cigar labels. Sorta dollar bill/stamp style too... A tough look to mimic.

I love it! Fine engraving lines rule. Oops, that's a pun, isn't it? Sorry. I want to see engraved portraits next -- more "stamp" than "dollar" please. But the rays are terrific. Please tell me the finished version goes out with "need some more text here".
these are so awesome. love the attention to detail. i have always loved the look of dollars (and stamps, steve!) with their pictures made of fine lines. nice work, sweet hale!
